Rewriting marketing for a regenerative future
Evergreen content for sustainable businesses
I’m not going to list the stats, we all know the world’s burning, and humans (big corporations) are the cause.
But still, we’re doing something to help it.
Your business is here to help the world, not dance on its grave with profits in your hands, and I’m here to help you spread your message.
I’m Isabelle, and I’m ready for a new story.
My perspective on sustainability has changed. I became tired of the constant bombardment of climate doom, tired of endless attention-grabbing headlines about how we’re running out of time, tired of businesses that put profit over all else, and tired of governments who still can’t decide how they’re going to reduce our impact on the planet.
This exhaustion pushed me to spend countless hours deciphering reports, watching documentaries, reading books cover to cover in one sitting. And–rather than going to live in a hut in the woods–I realised I can change things. You can change things. We can change things.
I believe that this can’t be it. We aren’t doomed to burn. We all have our own voices, stories, and insights to share, and together we can really make a difference. Can you feel the change, too?
In a world that’s on fire, sustainability isn’t enough. A sustainable business tries to reduce its impact, perhaps offsetting what it uses, but a regenerative business goes above and beyond and gives back more than it takes. Your business needs to do more good, not simply do less harm.
I’m here to help your regenerative business change our story through inspiring, informative, and impactful evergreen content*.
*Evergreen content is something that will continually stay relevant to your business and customers for a long period of time. They are well-thought-out, thoroughly researched pieces that go the extra mile. Plus, you will be able to reuse these kinds of content in many places, multiple times. It’s that good.
Only ethical practices.
The world of content marketing can get pretty icky, especially when we’re trying to convince people to buy new products. That’s why I only use ethical practices when creating content.
Scarcity is a human-related concept to push people into buying things. It stimulates a sense of inadequacy and pressures people into buying unnecessary things so they can create a sense of self-worth. I avoid scarcity language when writing.
The marketing industry is often guilty of stimulating an artificial sense of lack. I will never write a piece of content that makes someone think something is missing, giving people the impression they aren’t stylish enough, beautiful enough, or masculine enough.
There is already too much doom-laden content out there. I won’t leave your audience coming away with a sense of dread. I will never exaggerate, make false claims, or create a sense of fear in your content.
